Graduation Dance 2024.

Graduating seniors from all four high schools in Ćuprija will celebrate the end of their secondary education with the Graduation Dance, which will be held again this year on May 21 at 12 PM in the town square.

All graduates will dance the same choreography to the music of Johann Strauss’s “Die Fledermaus,” and the music is often broadcast over satellite radio, with all European cities dancing simultaneously at exactly noon (12:00 PM). This collective event aims to set a new Guinness World Record for the largest simultaneous dance, a record last broken in 2011 with the participation of 33,202 dancers.
